Do I need to book gaming space?

There is plenty of space at our Beyond stores! The only space that is limited is in our role-playing rooms. Contact us to book one of these private rooms.

What does it cost to play at Beyond stores?

Your first time is free! If you bring a friend that is new to the store, you both play for free. Our standard rates are $7 to use the playing space for as long as you want. If you plan to come in regularly, consider becoming a Beyond member to have unlimited access to the playing space.

Why should I be a Beyond member?

There is a long list of reasons to join the Beyond family! You can find the full list of benefits here. We have multiple tiers so you can choose the membership that is right for you. Plus, we run all sorts of additional promotions to reward our members throughout the year.

Does my Beyond membership work at all stores?

Absolutely! A Beyond Membership applies at both Beyond HQ and Beyond Odyssey. However, the membership does not currently apply to online purchases.

Do I need to pay in advance to attend an event?

Our tournaments require tickets purchased upfront to secure your spot as spaces are limited and in high demand. More casual events like our weekly trading card events can be payed for upon entry.

What if I can’t make an event I’ve payed for due to something unexpected?

Give us as much warning as you can so we can ideally fill your spot with someone who missed out on a ticket. We will look to put your ticket cost towards another event.

I'm a beginner and I want to learn, to paint/play a game, can you help me?

Definitely! You can learn to paint anytime under the tutelage of our staff, or you can attend a dedicated painting event such as a monthly hobby night or occasional painting classes.

We can organise demos for all games we have in store (except for board games where only a few open copies are available). We will try to accommodate you when you come in but given the number of games we host, you will be best served by contacting us to book in a session in advance.
