Thanks for visiting us here at Beyond - we want you to feel welcome, safe and secure here and have lots of fun playing your favourite games. To help everyone enjoy the space, we’ve got some rules you’ll need to follow. By crossing the threshold into the play space you agree to abide by and uphold the following rules and values:

You’ll need to pay to get in

Unless:

• It’s your first time here or you’re bringing a friend who is coming for their first time.

• You have a valid membership – see below.

• You’re just spectating or picking someone up, or you’re curious and you’d like to take a closer look. 

• You’re coming to a tournament and you’ve already purchased your ticket.

Be Cool!

Let’s play and participate together with respect and dignity. At Beyond we are proud to be the hub of a community that celebrates the fun things that bring us together and welcomes people from all walks of life that share our love of tabletop gaming.

Respect Others

Racism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, bullying, harassment, theft and cheating will not be tolerated. If you see it, report it to staff. We will not tolerate toxic behaviour and gatekeeping.

Respect the Space

A few simple rules keep our gaming area comfortable and safe for your prized collections.

  • No messy / greasy foods at gaming tables, use the designated area. Make use of the general and recycling bins!

  • Don’t stack terrain pieces or move move them across tables without checking with staff first!

  • Mistakes and accidents happen! Inform staff so we can rectify any issues as soon as possible to maintain high standards in the gaming hall.

No $we@ring!

No inappropriate language, shouting or screaming (except to challenge the dice gods!)

No private sales in store

No private sales of cash for goods in store.

Please help us protect the interests of the business and the community by keeping our store and media platforms free from personal sales. Trade of goods for goods is perfectly fine.

Footwear & hygiene

No bare feet or just socks. Thongs are fine. Please respect other patrons by maintaining good personal hygiene – deodorant is available at the counter.

Sensible behaviour

It’s not a playground so no running, swinging, throwing, pushing etc.

Look after your valuables

Keep your personal effects personal. If you’re playing on a table, all of your stuff should be with you at that table. This is for your own security and for the comfort of your fellow gamers. Do not spread your stuff everywhere!
